Mempool privacy: an economic perspective

Most discussions of mempool privacy stop at the cryptography. This work, supported by Osmosis and Flashbots, looked at the economics underneath: who benefits from transaction visibility, what privacy is actually worth, and how mechanism design and cryptography have to work together to deliver it.

The output was a paper laying out that economic framing and its implications for protocol designers thinking about MEV and ordering.
