Zero-knowledge & applied cryptography consulting

I help fintechs and protocols design, build and audit zero-knowledge and privacy systems. The work spans protocol design, security review, threshold cryptography and privacy-preserving payments — on the Ethereum and Zcash stacks. I'm hands-on - write specs, review circuits, ship Proof of Concept (PoC) code - and I bring a deep understanding of financial use cases and requirements.

Track record

Five years at Clearmatics, last as Head of R&D reporting to the CEO, where I built three teams from the ground up — cryptography R&D, quant finance and data. I worked on a wide range of projects including: USC (the Utility Settlement Coin, which spun out as Fnality International), Mobius, Zeth (privacy protocols) and Ion (interoperability) - to name a few. Since then I've worked with Osmosis, Pyth, Flashbots and QEDIT on threshold cryptography, privacy-preserving payment systems, Zcash Shielded Assets and security audits.

Between 2020 and 2021 I was an active contributor and maintainer of libsnark, libff and libfqfft — the core C++ libraries underpinning much of the zk-SNARK ecosystem then — including extending them with support for new elliptic-curve groups.
